Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. | | | -
Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body. | | | -
Detach the speed control cable from the bracket. | | | -
Detach the speed control cable from the retaining clip. | | | -
Disconnect the speed control actuator electrical connector. | | | -
Detach the speed control actuator. | | | -
Remove the speed control actuator bracket (four bolts). | | | -
Remove the speed control cable cap from the speed control actuator. - Depress and hold the locking clip.
- Turn the cap counterclockwise.

Remove the speed control cable from the speed control actuator pulley. - Release the cable locking spring.
- Push the cable end out of the pulley slot.

To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | |
