Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the front seat. For additional information, refer to Section  501-10 Seating.

  1. Disconnect the safety belt buckle pretensioner underseat electrical connector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Note the position and routing of the wiring harness to aid assembly. An incorrectly routed harness may lead to the wires becoming damaged on the seat mechanism.
    Detach the safety belt buckle pretensioner wiring harness from the underside of the seat.

  1. Remove the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
