Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove the engine undershield. - Rotate the locking tangs counterclockwise.

Remove the radiator splash shield. | | | -
Remove the right-hand front fender splash shield. | 5. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 6. To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | -
Fill and bleed the power steering system. CAUTION:Cap the steering gear to power steering fluid reservoir return line to prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress. CAUTION:Cap the power steering fluid reservoir to prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress. Disconnect the steering gear to power steering fluid reservoir return line from the power steering fluid reservoir. - Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
| Item 2 : Power steering fluid lines retaining bolt | | -
Disconnect the power steering fluid lines from the steering gear valve body. - Remove the retaining bolt.
- Rotate the clamp plate.
- Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
| Item 3 : Power steering fluid lines front bracket | | -
NOTE:Note the position of the power steering fluid lines front bracket to aid installation. Remove the power steering fluid lines front bracket. - Release the power steering fluid lines front bracket retaining clip.
- Remove the power steering fluid lines front bracket retaining bolt.
- Remove the power steering fluid lines front bracket.
| Item 4 : Power steering fluid lines center bracket | | -
NOTE:Note the position of the power steering fluid lines bracket to aid installation. Detach the power steering fluid lines bracket from the vehicle body. | | | -
Detach the steering gear to power steering fluid reservoir return line from the power steering fluid lines center bracket. - Release the power steering fluid lines center bracket retaining clip.
- Open the power steering fluid lines center bracket.
| Item 5 : Power steering fluid lines rear bracket | | -
Detach the power steering fluid lines rear bracket from the steering gear. | | | -
Remove the steering gear to power steering fluid reservoir return line. - Release the power steering fluid lines rear bracket retaining clip.
- Open the power steering fluid lines rear bracket.
| Installation Details Item 4 : Power steering fluid lines center bracket CAUTION:Make sure the power steering fluid lines are a minimum of 15 mm from the auxiliary drive belts. Item 3 : Power steering fluid lines front bracket CAUTION:Make sure the power steering fluid lines are a minimum of 15 mm from the auxiliary drive belts. Item 2 : Power steering fluid lines retaining bolt | | -
Connect the power steering fluid lines to the steering gear valve body. - Rotate the clamp plate.
- Install the retaining bolt.
