Accessory Drive - Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner—1.8L Duratec-HE (MI4)/2.0L Duratec-HE (MI4) Focus 2004.75 (07/2004-)
Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
    For additional information, refer to: Accessory Drive Belt - Vehicles Built Up To: 02/2008 1.8L Duratec-HE (MI4)/2.0L Duratec-HE (MI4) (303-05A Accessory Drive, Removal and Installation).

  1. Detach the fuel charging wiring harness and position to one side.
    • Detach the fuel charging wiring harness from the retaining clip.
    • Disconnect the fuel charging wiring harness electrical connector.

  1. Detach the engine wiring harness retaining clips from the engine.

  1. Detach the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the retaining clip and position the engine wiring harness one side.

5. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s).

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
