Accessory Drive - Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Focus RS 2003 (09/2002-)
Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
    For additional information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt in this section.
Vehicles with 1.4L or 1.6L (100 PS) engine
  1. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.
Vehicles with 1.6L (90 PS), 1.8L or 2.0L engine
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Remove the coolant expansion tank retaining bolt.

  1. Detach the coolant expansion tank and position it to one side.

  1. Detach the power steering reservoir and position it to one side.

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner retaining bolts.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
