Remove the snow cover from the throttle body. | | | -
Detach the accelerator cable from the throttle body. - Remove the retaining clip and detach the inner cable from the throttle body.
- Rotate the outer cable.

Detach the evaporative emission canister purge valve and position it to one side. | Vehicles built 01/2004 onwards | | -
Detach the accelerator cable from the retaining clips. | All vehicles | | -
Detach the instrument panel lower panel from the instrument panel and position it to one side. | | | -
Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal. | | | -
Attach a draw cord to the accelerator cable to assist with installation. | | | -

NOTE:The rubber grommets must be installed into the bulkhead and throttle body bracket before the accelerator cable is installed into the grommets.
