Remove the SWA sensor. (Figure 1)

Remove the upper steering column-to-intermediate shaft bolt.
7.
Remove steering column lower bearing spring (Figure 1)
8.
Remove and replace the steering wheel tone ring (Figure 1)
9.
To install, reverse the removal procedure and tighten steering column/intermediate shaft bolt to 22 lb-ft (30 N.m).
