Disconnect the battery ground cables. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

Remove the engine cover.

Disconnect the hood latch release cable from the hood latch.

Remove the battery junction box (BJB) retaining screws.

Remove the battery side trim cover.

Disconnect the cooling fan motor electrical connectors.

Detach the refrigerant line from the cooling fan motor and shroud.

Detach the cooling fan motor electrical connectors from the cooling fan shroud.

Remove the right-hand cooling fan motor.

Remove the left-hand cooling fan motor.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
