Remove the transaxle. CAUTION:If reusing the clutch pressure plate, evenly loosen the bolts in stages, working diagonally, until the diaphragm spring is decompressed (approximately two turns). Remove the clutch assembly from the flywheel. | Installation | -
Using the special tool, align the clutch friction disc centrally on the clutch pressure plate. | | -
CAUTION:Evenly tighten the bolts in stages, working diagonally, until the clutch pressure plate contacts the flywheel. NOTE: Install six new bolts. Install the clutch friction disc with the clutch pressure plate. - Place the clutch pressure plate with special tool and centred clutch friction disc onto the flywheel dowel pins.
- Tighten the clutch pressure plate bolts, working diagonally.
