Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the passenger airbag. For additional information, refer to Section  501-20 Supplemental Restraint System.
  1. Remove the instrument panel lower panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-12 Instrument Panel and Console.

  1. Disconnect the de-icing switch electrical connector.

  1. Detach the thermo switch from the evaporator core housing.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The de-icing switch is delivered completely with de-icing switch relay, thermo switch and wiring harness.
    Remove the de-icing switch.
    • Remove the de-icing switch relay retaining screws.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
