Belt Tensioner

The belt tensioner is of the automatic type and is supplied as an assembly together with an aluminium die cast bracket. This bracket also serves as a mounting for the generator and power steering pump. The belt tensioner is calibrated to provide the correct amount of tension to the drive belt for a given accessory drive system.

Belt Tensioners

The belt tensioners are of the manual type. To increase the belt tension, rotate the adjustment bolt counterclockwise and to decrease the belt tension, rotate the adjustment bolt clockwise.
