It is therefore essential that absolute cleanliness is observed when working with these components. Always fit blanking plugs to any open orifices or lines. | -
Disconnect the battery ground cable. | | -
Loosen the fuel filter bolt. | | -
Remove the fuel filter and housing. | | -
Disassemble the fuel filter and housing. - Remove the fuel filter bolt.

NOTE:When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. It may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn its adaptive strategy. NOTE:Install new O-ring seals. To install, reverse the removal procedure. | |
