Fuel Tank and Lines - Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch—1.3L Duratec-8V (Rocam)/1.6L Duratec-8V (Rocam)/1.3L Endura-E (HCS) Ikon 1999 (01/2000-)
Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Detach the left-hand door weatherstrip.

  1. Detach the cowl side trim panel.

  1. Detach the inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch.

  1. Remove the IFS switch.
    • Disconnect the IFS switch electrical connector.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the IFS switch is in the reset position.
    Depress the button on the IFS switch.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
