1. Remove the air cleaner resonator.

2. Install the special tools.

3. Detach the power steering fluid reservoir from the wheel housing and position it to one side.

4. Remove the engine front mount.
   • Discard the nuts.

5. Remove the engine front mount.
   • Discard the nuts.

6. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to Section  303-05 Accessory Drive.

7. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

8. Remove the accessory drive belt cover.

9. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft pulley.

10. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft front seal.
    • Discard the seal.

1. 

   NOTE:Install a new crankshaft front seal.
   

   NOTE:The pulley, installation sleeve, housing and the sealing lip must be free of oil.
   

   NOTE:A new crankshaft front seal is supplied preassembled on an installation sleeve.
   Install the crankshaft front seal.
   1. Install the installation sleeve and seal assembly onto the crankshaft pulley.
   2. Install the crankshaft front seal onto the crankshaft pulley.
   • Remove the installation sleeve.

2. 

   CAUTION:To prevent damage to the seal, do not pull the crankshaft pulley out more than 3 mm during seal installation.
   Using the special tool, install the crankshaft pulley.

3. Remove the special tool.

4. Using the special tool, tighten the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt.

5. Install the accessory drive belt cover.

6. Lower the vehicle.

7. Install the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to Section  303-05 Accessory Drive.

8. 

   NOTE:Install new engine front mount retaining nuts.
   Install the engine front mount.

9. 

   NOTE:Install new engine front mount retaining nuts.
   Install the engine front mount.

10. Attach the power steering fluid reservoir to the wheel housing.

11. Remove the special tools.

12. Install the air cleaner resonator.
