Removal and Installation

Removal

All Vehicles
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

  1. Disconnect the fan electrical connectors and detach from the clips.
Vehicles built up to 1/1997
  1. Disconnect the ground cable.
Vehicles built 1/1997 onwards
  1. Disconnect the ground cable.
Vehicles with air conditioning
  1. Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the A/C low pressure switch electrical connector.
All Vehicles
  1. Remove the radiator.
    For additional information, refer to Radiator - Vehicles with 2 in this section.

  1. Remove the fan shroud.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
