Aligner, Gearshift Lever

1. Remove the air cleaner.
   1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor multiplug.
   2. Release the hose clip.
   3. Pull off the vacuum hose.
   4. Unhook the rubber retainer.
   • Remove the intake hose.

2. Release the adjusting mechanisms for the shift and selector cables by pressing them in (shown from below).

3. Unclip the boot, fold it up and insert the special tool.

4. Click the adjusting mechanisms onto the shift cable and selector cable (shown from below).

5. Install the air cleaner.
   1. Hook the rubber retainer in place.
   2. Connect the vacuum hose.
   3. Tighten the hose clip.
   4. Connect the MAF multiplug.
   • Install the intake hose.

6. Remove the special tool, pull the boot over the gear lever and clip it in place.
