Relieve the fuel pressure. For additional information, refer to Pressure Relief in this section. | | | -
Remove the safety clips from the spring lock couplings. | | | -
Install the spring lock coupling tools. | | | -
Close and push the spring lock coupling tool into the open side of the cage. | | | -

Inspect and clean both coupling ends. Install new O-rings and garter springs if necessary. | | | -
NOTE:Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil. Fit the male fitting into the female end and push until the garter spring snaps over the flared end of the female fitting. | | | -
Make sure the coupling is engaged by pulling on the lines. | |
