Instrument Cluster - Instrument Cluster Printed Circuit—Vehicles With: Tachometer Mondeo 1997 (08/1996-09/2000)
Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Remove the instrument cluster glass.

  1. Remove the legends.

  1. Release the tang and disconnect the multiplug.

  1. Remove the Torx retaining screws and remove the speedometer.

  1. Remove the Torx retaining screw and remove the tachometer.

  1. Remove the Torx retaining screw and remove the fuel gauge.

  1. Remove the Torx retaining screw and remove the temperature gauge.

  1. Remove the multiplug surrounds.
    • Push out the centre of the retainers from the front of the instrument cluster.
    • Remove the bulbs from the printed circuit.

  1. Push the sides of each connector towards the centre to release. (Do not push all the way through).

  1. Release the circuit board carefully from its locating dowels and remove.

Installation

  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
