Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the rear door latch assembly. For additional information, refer to Section  501-14A Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems / 501-14B Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems.

  1. Remove the door latch motor shield.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Extreme care must be taken when removing the switch to avoid damaging the retaining clips.
    Remove the switch.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
