Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Detach the front passenger seat. For additional information, refer to Section  501-10 Seating.

  1. Detach and disconnect the electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the crash padding - fascia. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
  1. Remove the driver seat. For additional information, refer to Section  501-10 Seating.

  1. Locally detach the front of the floor covering and release the antenna cable (taped to the floor).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Ensure that the wiper motor is in the park position.
    Remove the wiper arms.
    • Lift up the plastic caps and loosen the nuts approximately two turns.
    • Lift the wiper arms and release them from the taper by moving them side to side.
    • Remove the nuts and remove the wiper arms.

  1. Detach the air cowl grille.
    • Unclip the caps.
    • Remove the screws.

  1. Remove the air cowl grille
    1. Remove the rubber seal.
    1. Remove the screws.
    • Disconnect the air cowl grille at the disconnection point and remove it.

  1. Remove the antenna.
    1. Detach the antenna from the bracket.
    1. Detach the bracket.
    1. Cut the cable ties and remove the antenna.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
