Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. Remove the door pull.
    • Remove the screws.

  1. Detach the door speaker.
    • Remove the screws.

  1. Remove the door speaker
    • Disconnect the speaker electrical connector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Detach the watershield.
    • Using a plastic knife (disposable cutlery), cut through the Butyl strip to enable the watershield to be peeled back.

  1. Install the window regulator handle.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Align the window retaining bolts with the access holes.
    Remove the window retaining bolts.

  1. Remove the door outer weatherstrip.

  1. Raise and support the glass in the near closed position.

  1. Detach the window regulator.
    • Remove the window regulator retaining bolts.
    • Allow the window regulator to rest in the bottom of the door.

  1. Remove the glass.
    1. Tilt the glass past the window regulator and remove from the window top run.
    1. Remove the glass from the door.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
