| Description and Operation Springs and shock absorbers The chassis has been lowered by 15 mm. This was achieved with the use of shorter, harder springs in conjunction with a stiffer shock absorber arrangement. A new stabiliser bar with a diameter of 20 mm is now used. The associated clamps and bushes have also been newly developed. The stabiliser bar is not flattened off in the area of the clamps. Spindle carrier The spindle carrier is another new development. The lower suspension arm has been taken over from the base model, but now features a ball socket which is matched to the spindle carrier. |
