To adjust the parking brake cable, operate the parking brake control several times. | Vehicles with manually adjusted parking brake | -
Release the parking brake. | | -
Make sure the parking brake cable is correctly located. | | -
NOTE:Use a suitable 6 mm wrench to prevent the parking brake control cable from rotating. Tighten the parking brake cable adjustment nut until increased torque is detected. | | -
NOTE:Use a suitable 6 mm wrench to prevent the parking brake control cable from rotating. Pre-adjust the parking brake cable until 1 mm of clearance is obtained on one side. - The opposite side should have a clearance of 1 mm or less.

NOTE:Before carrying out the final adjustment, settle the parking brake system. Settle the parking brake system. - Raise the parking brake control twelve notches and release five times.

CAUTION:The clearance between the brake caliper parking brake lever and the lever end stop should not exceed 1 mm. NOTE:Use a suitable 6 mm wrench to prevent the parking brake control cable from rotating. Adjust the parking brake cable until 1 mm of clearance is obtained on one side. - The opposite side should have a clearance of 1 mm or less. If the clearance exceeds 1 mm, loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut and repeat the complete adjustment procedure.
