Remove the intake manifold.

Detach the power steering fluid reservoir and position it to one side. | | | -
Remove the power steering line support bracket retaining bolt. | | | -
Detach the power steering pump from the coolant pump and position it to one side (shown from below for clarity). | | | -
Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hoses from the coolant pump. | | | -
Remove the coolant pump retaining bolts. - Detach the wiring harness from the coolant pump lower retaining bolts.

Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hose and remove the coolant pump. | | | -
Remove the engine oil temperature control thermostat. | | | -
Remove and discard the coolant pump O-ring seal and lubricating paste from the coolant pump drive. | Installation NOTE:Install a new engine oil temperature control thermostat O-ring seal. NOTE:Install a new coolant pump gasket. | | -
Install the engine oil temperature control thermostat. | | | -
Using the special tool, connect the coolant hose to the coolant pump. | | | -
Install the coolant pump retaining bolts. - Attach the wiring harness to the coolant pump lower retaining bolts.

Using the special tool, connect the coolant hoses to the coolant pump. | | | -
Install a new coolant pump O-ring seal to the coolant pump drive. | | | -
Coat the power steering pump drive shaft spline with lubricating paste (power steering pump shown removed for clarity). | | | -
Attach the power steering pump to the coolant pump (shown from below for clarity). | | | -
Attach the power steering fluid reservoir. | | | -
Install the power steering line support bracket retaining bolt. | | | -
Install the intake manifold.
