Removal and Installation

Compressor, Coil Spring

Adapter for 204-167
General Equipment
Trolley jack

Removal

  1. Remove the wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

  1. General Equipment: Trolley jack

  1. Remove the rear stabilizer bar link.
    Refer to: Rear Stabilizer Bar Link (204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation).

  1. Special Tool(s): 204-167, 204-167-01

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the spring is correctly located in the lower spring seat.
    Special Tool(s): 204-167, 204-167-01
  1. Install the rear stabilizer bar link.
    Refer to: Rear Stabilizer Bar Link (204-02 Rear Suspension, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 175 Nm
Vehicles with load-leveling shock absorbers
  1. Torque: 280 Nm
All vehicles
  1. Remove the trolley jack.
  1. Install the wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
