Mondeo 20075: Removal & Installation of Main Control Valve Body

Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Refer to: Getriebeölwanne (307-01 Automatikgetriebe - Fahrzeuge ausgestattet mit 6-Gang Automatikgetriebe (AWF21), Removal and Installation).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Note the position of the electrical connectors.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the tape has not detached from the edges of the component.

  1. With every pass, undo the bolts one turn at a time alternately.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:New engine front covers are supplied with a crankshaft front seal alignment sleeve which will be pushed out during installation.
    CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that no component falls off during removal.

Installation
  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:New engine front covers are supplied with a crankshaft front seal alignment sleeve which will be pushed out during installation.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that new bolts are installed.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.
    Torque: 10 Nm
