General Procedures

General Equipment
2.5 mm drill bit
4 mm drill bit
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Luftfilter (303-12 Ansaugsystem - 1.8L Duratorq-TDCi (Lynx) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
      Refer to: Luftfilter (303-12 Ansaugsystem - 2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Gearshift cables must not be kinked or bent.

  1.  
    1. X = 44 mm.
      General Equipment: 2.5 mm drill bit
    1. NOTE:
      NOTE:Ensure that 4th gear is engaged.

  1. General Equipment: 4 mm drill bit

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Gearshift cables must not be kinked or bent.

  1. Remove the following items:
    1. General Equipment: 4 mm drill bit

  1. Install the following items:
    1. Refer to: Luftfilter (303-12 Ansaugsystem - 1.8L Duratorq-TDCi (Lynx) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
      Refer to: Luftfilter (303-12 Ansaugsystem - 2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
