General Equipment
Transmission jack
  1. Refer to: Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsvorkehrungen (100-00 Allgemeine Informationen, Description and Operation).
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Luftfilter (303-12 Ansaugsystem - 1.6L Duratec-16V Ti-VCT (Sigma), Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Batterie (414-01 Batterie, Befestigung und Batteriekabel, Removal and Installation).

  1. Refer to: Starter Motor (303-06A Starting System - 1.6L Duratec-16V Ti-VCT (Sigma), Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Vorderer Hilfsrahmen (502-00 Selbstragende Karosserie, Rahmen und Anbausystem, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Antriebswelle vorn links (205-04 Vorderradantriebswellen, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Antriebswelle vorn rechts (205-04 Vorderradantriebswellen, Removal and Installation).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the exhaust flexible pipe is not twisted.

  1. Install the Special Tool(s): 303-290B, 303-290-03A, 303-290-13, 303-290A-15, 303-290B-16

  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Discard the bolt.

  1. Special Tool(s): 303-290B

  1. Secure the transaxle with a retaining strap.
    General Equipment: Transmission jack

  1. Support the transmission using the transmission jack and remove.
