Remove the clutch slave cylinder. Refer to: Kupplungsnehmerzylinder (308-02 Kupplungsbetätigung - Fahrzeuge ausgestattet mit 6-Gang Schaltgetriebe (MMT6), Removal and Installation). | | | -
CAUTION:Take special care to avoid damaging the bearing. | | | -
Screw a 2.5 x 15 mm self-tapping screw a maximum of two turns into the input shaft seal and pull out the input shaft seal using a pair of pliers. | Installation | | -
Apply adhesive tape over the splines of the input shaft to prevent the input shaft oil seal being damaged. | | | -
Remove the adhesive tape from the input shaft splines and install the clutch slave cylinder. Refer to: Kupplungsnehmerzylinder (308-02 Kupplungsbetätigung - Fahrzeuge ausgestattet mit 6-Gang Schaltgetriebe (MMT6), Removal and Installation). | | | -
