Removal and Installation
1. Remove the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor. For additional information, refer to Computers and Control Systems.
2. Remove the LH hydraulic chain tensioner.

To install, tighten to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).
3. NOTE: Lubricate the new O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
