CAUTION

THE BRAKE CALIPER/ANCHOR PLATE MUST BE SUPPORTED AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT ALLOW THE BRAKE CALIPER/ANCHOR
PLATE TO HANG FROM THE BRAKE HOSE.

Remove and discard the brake caliper anchor mounting bolts. Remove the brake caliper and anchor plate as an assembly and support them with a
short length of mechanics wire. See Figure 2.

7.

Remove the brake rotor. See Figure 2.

8.

Remove and discard the rear hub retainer from the axle shaft.

9.

Remove and discard the cotter pin and castle nut from the toe link. See Figure 2.

CAUTION

Do not strike the toe link or knuckle. The toe link may be damaged.

NOTE:

The toe link cannot be fully removed from the knuckle until after the upper ball joint is disconnected from the control arm.
