Mustang GT V8-4.6L SOHC VIN X (1998)
3. Install eight retaining nuts. Tighten in sequence to 18-22 Nm (14-16 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove safety stand and install RH motor mount-to-front sub-frame crossmember nut. Tighten both motor mount to front sub-frame crossmember
nuts to 128-172 Nm (95-126 ft. lbs.).
5. Install starter motor.
6. Install dual converter Y pipe.
7. Lower vehicle.
8. Position engine compartment brace on front fender aprons and dash panel. Install six retaining bolts. Tighten retaining bolts to 20-30 Nm (15-22
ft. lbs.).
9. Connect battery ground cable.
10. Start engine and check for exhaust leaks.
