ISSUE:
There may be poor A/C performance in high ambient temperatures on some vehicles. In order to increase A/C cooling performance, a new operating plan
for the A/C cooling fan has been put into production as of 5/10/94. There is a retrofit A/C kit available for these vehicles when service is required.
ACTION:
Refer to the A/C Cooling Fan Operation Chart and Figure 1 of I.S. # 6630 for service reference. If you encounter a customer that experiences this
concern, install the A/C Retrofit Kit. Refer to Instruction Sheet # 6630, included in the kit, for installation procedures.
The A/C Retrofit Kit (F42Z-19K603-CA) consists of:

One (1) Jumper Wiring Harness

One (1) O-Ring for A/C Pressure Switch
^
Five (5) Strap Bands
^
One (1) Instruction Sheet (I.S. # 6630)
