Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt splash shield.

  1. Detention the belt.
    • Turn the belt tensioner counterclockwise.
  1. Remove the belt.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Ensure the correct location of the belt on the pulleys. Refer to Description and Operation in this section.
