Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Loosen the left-hand front wheel nuts.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.
  1. Remove the left-hand front wheel.

  1. Remove the fender splash shield.

  1. Remove the air intake pipe.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and air hose.
    • Disconnect the air hose.
    • Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor electrical connector.
    • Disconnect the mass air flow electrical connector.

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly top cover.

  1. Disconnect the engine breather hose from the air cleaner assembly.
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
