Bumper Cover - Front

Removal and Installation

Upper and lower bumper cover

1. Remove the front bumper assembly. For additional information, refer to Bumper - Front  See: Service and Repair/Bumper - Front.

Lower bumper cover

2. Remove the lower bumper cover from the upper bumper cover.

Disengage the lower cover from the clips on the upper cover.

3. Transfer the fog lamp assemblies to the new lower bumper cover, if necessary. For additional information, refer to Lighting and Horns.

Upper bumper cover

4. Remove the upper bumper cover from the bumper beam.

Remove the 14 plastic rivets.

Remove the upper bumper cover.

Upper and lower bumper cover

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install the 14 plastic rivets using a commercially available plastic rivet gun.
