Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. hot
    WARNING:
    WARNING:When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.
    Loosen: 1 turn(s)
  1. Close the coolant expansion tank cap.

Vehicles built up to 11/2007

  1. hot
    WARNING:
    WARNING:Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
    Torque: 12 Nm
Vehicles built 11/2007 onwards

    WARNING:
    WARNING:Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:The O-ring seal is to be reused unless damaged.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
