Body Closures - Liftgate Alignment S-MAX/Galaxy 2006.5 (03/2006-)
General Procedures

  1.  
    1. Loosen one complete turn.

  1. Torque: 22 Nm

  1.  
    • If the liftgate alignment cannot be achieved at the liftgate hinges to liftgate, adjustment must be carried out at the liftgate hinges to body.
    • If adjustment of the liftgate hinges to body is required the headliner must be removed.
    • Remove the headliner.
      Refer to: Headliner - VIN Plate Body Style Code: S, Vehicles With: Glass Roof Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
      Refer to: Headliner - VIN Plate Body Style Code: M, Vehicles With: Glass Roof Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

    1. Loosen one complete turn.

  1. Torque: 22 Nm

  1. Install the headliner.
    Refer to: Headliner - VIN Plate Body Style Code: S, Vehicles With: Glass Roof Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
