General Procedures

  1. Front end body dimensions, S-MAX
    • All dimensions with tolerance ± 3 mm. All dimensions were determined starting from the centre of each hole or panel edge using a symmetrically adjusted measuring gauge.
    • Measuring points and dimensions

      1 -3 = 435 mm 1 -8 = 1546 mm
      1 -4 = 555 mm 1 -9 = 1316 mm
      1 -5 = 792 mm 1 -10 = 1700 mm
      1 -6 = 1480 mm 2 -9 = 1134 mm
      1 -7 = 1564 mm

  1. Front end body dimensions, Galaxy

      1 -5 = 792 mm 1 -10 = 1658 mm
      1 -6 = 1480 mm 2 -9 = 1134 mm
      1 -7 = 1564 mm

  1. Body dimensions (side view), S-MAX
    • All dimensions with tolerance ± 3 mm. All dimensions were determined starting from the edge of the steel panel using a symmetrically adjusted measuring gauge.
    • Measuring points 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11 and 13 are measured in the curve and represent the greatest distance to the measuring point opposite.
    • The detailed view of measuring point 12 is shown from above.
    • The detailed views of measuring points 2, 6, 9, 10 and 14 are shown looking from the vehicle interior outwards.
    • Measuring points and dimensions

      1 -11 = 965 mm 5 -8 = 1310 mm
      2 -12 = 1078 mm 6 -9 = 860 mm
      3 -13 = 1362 mm 10 -14 = 835 mm
      4 -7 = 1204 mm

  1. Body dimensions (side view), Galaxy
    • All dimensions with tolerance ± 3 mm. All dimensions were determined starting from the edge of the steel panel using a symmetrically adjusted measuring gauge.
    • Measuring points 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10 and 11 are measured in the curve and represent the greatest distance to the measuring point opposite.
    • The detailed views of measuring points 1, 5, 8, 9 and 12 are shown looking from the vehicle interior outwards.
    • Measuring points and dimensions

      1 -10 = 1062 mm 4 -7 = 1365 mm
      2 -11 = 1393 mm 5 -8 = 859 mm
      3 -6 = 1230 mm 9 -12 = 837 mm

  1. Rear body dimensions, S-MAX
    • All dimensions with tolerance ± 3 mm. All dimensions were determined starting from the center of the welded flange using a symmetrically adjusted measuring gauge.
    • Measuring points and dimensions

      1 -4 = 1193 mm 3 -6 = 1451 mm
      2 -5 = 1021 mm

  1. Rear body dimensions, Galaxy
    • All dimensions with tolerance ± 3 mm. All dimensions were determined starting from the center of the welded flange using a symmetrically adjusted measuring gauge.
    • Measuring points and dimensions

      1 -4 = 1240 mm 3 -6 = 1456 mm
      2 -5 = 1105 mm

  1. Passenger compartment body dimensions, S-MAX
    • All dimensions with tolerance ± 3 mm. All dimensions were determined starting from the center of the welded flange using a symmetrically adjusted measuring gauge.
    • Measuring points and dimensions

      1 -4 = 1508 mm 5 -6 = 1498 mm
      2 -3 = 1476 mm
