Disassembly
  1. WARNING:
    WARNING:During this operation the spring is under extreme load, therefore care must be taken at all times.
    Compress the spring.

  1. Disassemble the suspension unit assembly.
    1. Remove the locknut.
    1. Remove the thrust bearing.
    1. Remove the upper spring seat.
    1. Remove the suspension unit.
    1. Remove the gaiter.
    1. Remove the bump stop.
    1. Remove the suspension unit dust cover.

Assembly
  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
