Install the lock cylinder (removed in Step #3 above). Assure that the lock tumblers are upright and the cylinder is set/pushed all the way into the
latch.

Function glove box door to assure the door is tight

against the door bumpers to preclude door movement. The striker may be adjusted fore/aft as necessary to eliminate door movement.
