The following is a revision to the engine valve and valve seat refacing procedure outlined in Section 22-06-31 of the 1984 and 1985 Car Shop Manual E.
Valve Seats, Refacing "Grind exhaust valve seats to a true 45 degree angle."
Valve, Refacing "If the valve face runout is excessive and/or to remove pits and grooves, reface to a true 45 degree angle on the intake or exhaust valve."
