Parking Brake Control: Testing and Inspection
CONTROL STROKE, PARKING BRAKE
Verify the parking brake control lever stroke is five to seven notches when applied with a foot pedal force of 445 N (100 lb). If stroke is incorrect,
adjust cable tension. See: Adjustments
BRAKES, REAR
Operate the parking brake control a few times to verify the rear brakes do not drag when the parking brake control is released. If brakes drag,
perform diagnosis. See: Testing and Inspection
