23‐033Adaptor,fuel pressure test

WARNING:

Be prepared for some fuel spillage. Observe fuel handling precautions. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.
1. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (refer to Operation Number 23 266 0).

2. Unscrew the fuel hose union retaining bolts at the rear of the engine.

3. Disconnect the fuel hose union from the fuel rail.

4. Unscrew the fuel rail retaining bolts.

5. Remove the fuel rail.

6. Unscrew the injector retaining bolts.

7. Remove the injectors.
Install
8. Refit the components in the reverse order.
• Fit new upper and lower injector seals.
• Lightly lubricate the injector seals with clean engine oil before fitting.
