Engine Emission Control - Exhaust Manifold to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Tube—2.3L DOHC-16V Transit 2000.5 (01/2000-05/2006)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Section  303-01A Engine / 303-01B Engine / 303-01C Engine.

  1. Disconnect the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube from the EGR valve.

  1. Disconnect the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube from the exhaust manifold.

  1. Detatch the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube from the cylinder head.

  1. Disconnect the differential pressure feedback EGR system electrical connector and remove the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube.
    • Discard the exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install a new exhaust manifold to EGR valve tube.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
