Disconnect the battery ground cable.
For additional information, refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

Disconnect the outlet pipe from the intake air resonator assembly and position it to one side. | | | -
Disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector. | | | -
Remove the power steering pump belt cover. | | | -
Using the special tool, remove the CHT sensor. | Installation NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed. | | -
To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | |
