Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly
  1. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connectors and unclip the wiring harness.

  1. Remove the heater control unit.
    1. Unclip the left-hand and right-hand cables from the heater core housing.
    1. Disconnect the left-hand and right-hand cables from the adjusting lever.

  1. Remove the temperature blend door actuator cover.

  1. Remove the temperature blend door actuator.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum line from the air inlet blend door actuator.

  1. Remove the air inlet blend door actuator.

  1. Remove the blower motor.
    1. Pull up the tab.
    1. Turn the blower motor counterclockwise and remove it.

  1. Remove the heater core cover.
    1. Remove the bolt from the bracket.
    1. Remove the bolts from the heater core cover.

  1. Remove the heater core.

Assembly

  1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
