Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Disconnect the refrigeration bypass control pressure switch connector.
  1. Start the engine and switch on the refrigeration system.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Ensure that the refrigeration system compressor is running during removal of the refrigeration bypass control pressure switch.
    Connect a fused jumper wire (20A fuse) between pin 1 and pin 4, harness side, of the refrigeration bypass control pressure switch connector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Ensure that the refrigeration bypass control pressure switch valve is completely closed following removal to prevent loss of refrigerant.
    Remove the refrigeration bypass control pressure switch.
    • Discard the O-rings.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install new O-rings for the refrigeration bypass control pressure switch.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Coat the pressure switch O-rings with clean refrigerant oil prior to installation.
    Install the components in the reverse order.
