Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the steering column upper shroud.
    1. Using a thin bladed screwdriver, release the two clips (one each side).
    1. Remove the shroud.

  1. Remove the steering column lower shroud.

  1. Detach the steering column multifunction switch.
    1. Depress the locking tangs
    1. Detach the steering column multifunction switch.

  1. Remove the tie strap.
Vehicles with central junction box (CJB) built up to 07/2003
  1. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Release the clips and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

  1. Remove the instrument cluster retaining screws.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the instrument cluster.
Vehicles with central junction box (CJB) built 07/2003 onwards
  1. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Release the clips and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

  1. Remove the instrument cluster retaining screws.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the instrument cluster.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
