Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to Section  303-05 Accessory Drive.

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

  1. Disconnect the generator electrical connectors.

  1. Remove the cooling fan shroud right-hand retaining nut.

  1. Remove the cooling fan shroud left-hand retaining nut.

  1. Detach the cooling fan motor and shroud from the radiator and position it to one side.

  1. Remove the generator.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • To aid installation, slide back the generator locking sleeves.
